It's All About YOU

Envision South Carolina is an innovative, multi-faceted project to engage the people of our state to dream, to connect, and to learn.

Using traditional and new interactive media, over several weeks in late 2012 and early 2013, we will engage over 30 of our state's "best and brightest" from a variety of fields, in a series of video and print interviews about what we need to do to be "world class." These will be distributed and promoted by media partners and others all across the state

Here's Your Part

We want everyone to watch, read and think about what these leaders in our state have to say-and then we want you to respond. Agree or disagree, suggest more ideas, offer better alternatives. Say anything you want to say about how you think South Carolina can become world class.

You can share your ideas and comments with others via a central website using online tools, comment sections, video uploads, polls, discussion boards and other online tools.

The project will be structured with many different components so that literally everyone in the state will be encouraged to participate, make suggestions, connect with others and provide ideas and suggestions.

Also, there will be special interactive learning projects for students at all grade levels so they can participate and learn about the wider world and their place in it.

All of the events and activates of Envision South Carolina and Celebration Day will be free and open to everyone - of all ages.

There will be something for everyone - in what promises to be a fun, memorable and historic occasion for our state.
